Carpenter has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Hershul Olloway Jr helped Carpenter out on the ground, rushing for 120 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.
Meanwhile, Manzano came into Saturday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 36-25 win over Silver on Saturday.
Manzano found their leader in sophomore Broden Price, who rushed for 170 yards and one score. Another receiver making a difference was Aiden Erickson, who picked up 74 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Manzano was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
