Baseball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Midlakes Screaming Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Screaming Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in April.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Midlakes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Waterloo will face off against Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Midlakes, they will challenge Geneva at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Screaming Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
