Amarillo had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Reagan Rattlers.

Amarillo's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Reagan, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amarillo will welcome Palo Duro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Sandies their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Reagan, they will host Dripping Springs at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
