West Forsyth had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt North Atlanta on Tuesday. The Wolverines' pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors a 9-0 shutout. Considering the Wolverines have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Maren Moskau, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Chloe Hamlin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: West Forsyth lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got West Forsyth back to even at 11-11. As for North Atlanta, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

West Forsyth will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
