It was fun while it lasted, but Flowery Branch's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Tuesday. They fell just short of the East Forsyth Broncos by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Flowery Branch fell to 4-1. As for East Forsyth, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Coming up, Flowery Branch will head out on the road to challenge Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Flowery Branch will be up against Greene County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for East Forsyth, they will be playing at home against Eastside at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
