Triad found their leader in sophomore John Holloway, who rushed for 189 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 189 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Holloway.

Murphy has been a dominant force too and has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 178.8 rushing yards per game.

Triad strolled past Mascoutah in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 37-22. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Indians' Baruk Jonsson, who rushed for 88 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 184 yards and one touchdown.
