Quality Education Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past The Rock National 61-59. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Fighting Pharaohs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 97th in North Carolina, while the Lions are ranked seventh in Florida).

Meanwhile, iSchool of Lewisville came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 57-51 W over the Titans.

Quality Education Academy better keep an eye on Jaylen Lawal. He was instrumental in iSchool of Lewisville's win, putting up 25 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of David Iweze, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards.

ISchool of Lewisville pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.2 points per game. As for Quality Education Academy, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
