The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Louis Park, who took down 181st ranked St. Louis Park, 42-35.

Spring Lake Park extended the longest winning streak in North Suburban this week by beating North, 39-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Panthers.

Spring Lake Park's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin Swenson threw for 19 yards and Aaron Murphy had 19 yards receiving. On the ground Eji Ejiya chipped in 156 yards.

On the ground, Jeff Schlieff's team's Ejiya has rushed for 674 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Murphy. The Spring Lake Park star has three catches for 35 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Spring Lake Park takes on second place Irondale. The Panthers bested the Polars last week, while Irondale beat Benilde-St. Margaret's.

There should be lots of points scored when Spring Lake Park and the Knights face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Panthers comes in having scored 189 this season, while Irondale has scored 69. Spring Lake Park scored 39 points last week as it defeated North.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Panthers take on Ben Geisler's team. Spring Lake Park has allowed 37 points this season, while the Knights have given up 61. The Panthers allowed 0 points last week as they beat Eric Longtin's team.

North Branch was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from ninth to sixth in North Suburban. Earlier in the week, the Vikings triumphed over the Orioles 42-35.
