Baseball Recap: Buchholz Finds Playoff Glory Versus Pace

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Buchholz had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pace Patriots, sneaking past 5-4. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 11-2 victory on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Kai So, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Buchholz and bumps their season record up to 32-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Pace, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-6.

As of now, neither Buchholz nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
