Basketball Recap: Monday's Defeat Ends Riverside Christian Academy's Winning Streak

After flying high against Wake County Academy HomeSchool on Saturday, Riverside Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Royals took a 72-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy Stars on Monday. The Royals' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Asany Richmond was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds for Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy. Another player making a difference was Dennis (Tre) Williams, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 14 points and six assists.
