Football Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park lost against Mahtomedi back in October of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Scots were beaten by the Zephyrs 47-7. The Scots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mahtomedi, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Highland Park and Mahtomedi will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Scots are set to face off against their familiar foe Harding/Humboldt/Open World Learning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mahtomedi will take on rival St. Louis Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
