Soccer Recap: Central Springs Wins Going Away Against Fort Dodge

Central Springs won the last time they faced Fort Dodge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers blew past the Dodgers 6-1. Given Central Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Fort Dodge are ranked 128th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Central Springs back to even at 3-3-2. As for Fort Dodge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Central Springs will head out to face off against Des Moines North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Dodge, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Northwood-Kensett on the 22nd.
