Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moorhead). They walked away with a 51-44 win over the Edina Hornets on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Spuds were the better team in the second half.

Despite the loss, Edina still got an impressive performance from Mason West, who threw for 289 yards and two TDs while completing 79.3% of his passes.

Moorhead moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Edina, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Moorhead will take on Blaine at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Edina, they will face off against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
