Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

If Central was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Hulbert on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gore Pirates on Thursday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Gore, their win bumped their record up to 10-6-1.

Looking ahead, Central will square off against Roland at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Gore, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Checotah on the 11th.
