Basketball Recap: Chaminade Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Chaminade entered their tilt with Notre Dame (SO) on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 66-47 win over the Notre Dame (SO) Knights. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Knights are ranked 216th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Notre Dame (SO)'s loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zi Kennybrew, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points Kennybrew has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hamiley Arenas, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.
