Basketball Recap: Carter Takes a Loss

Carter has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fontana Steelers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since November 15, 2023.

Carter's record now sits at 15-5. As for Fontana, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Carter is taking a road trip to take on Arroyo Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Carter's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so Arroyo Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fontana, they will host Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
