Campbell waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Spartans who were credited with the win. The Campbell Spartans got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Harrison Hoyas's four. The victory was all the more spectacular given Campbell's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Harrison are ranked third).

Campbell pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Harrison, they moved to 13-2 with that loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbell will square off against East Coweta at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harrison, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Starr's Mill at 8:00 p.m. on the 15th.
