Softball Recap: Clarksville Beats Collins-Maxwell for Their 13th Straight Win

Clarksville put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Collins-Maxwell with a sharp 13-2 victory. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Collins-Maxwell walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2024.

Clarksville pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Collins-Maxwell, their defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-4.

Clarksville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 victory against Sumner-Fredericksburg on the 17th. Collins-Maxwell has also already played their next match (against Roland-Story), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
