Softball Recap: West Laurens Starts Season with Win Against Johnson County

West Laurens gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Johnson County Trojans as they made off with a 9-1 victory.

This is the second loss in a row for Johnson County and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Laurens will host Houston County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johnson County, they will be playing at home against Swainsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
