Softball Recap: Wilburton Comes Up Short

Wilburton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hartshorne Miners. That's two games in a row now that the Diggers have lost by just one run.

Wilburton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Wilburton and Hartshorne will both be playing Quinton the next time they take the field. The Miners will head out to face the Savages at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Diggers will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
