Soccer Recap: Echols County Comes Up Short

Echols County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Berrien Rebels, falling 8-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Rebels when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Echols County now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Berrien, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Echols County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Turner County on the 18th. As for Berrien, they have also already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Worth County on the 18th.
