Softball Recap: East Union Comes Up Short

East Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 11-6 to the Mount Ayr Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 back in May.

East Union's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mount Ayr, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

East Union has already played their next match, a 12-3 loss against Martensdale-St. Mary's on the 17th. As for Mount Ayr, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 win against Nodaway Valley on the 17th.
