Preview: Redwood vs. Branson

The Redwood Giants will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Branson Bulls at 6:30 p.m. on February 10th. Redwood's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Redwood walked away with it. They never let the Red Tailed Hawks onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. That's two games straight that Redwood has won by exactly one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Colette Boyden, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Branson entered their tilt with Marin Catholic with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Branson walked away with a 2-0 win over Marin Catholic on Wednesday. Julia Myerberg had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Branson got from the refs.

Redwood's victory bumped their record up to 14-4-2. As for Branson, they pushed their record up to 15-2-4 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
