Softball Recap: Window Rock Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Window Rock won the last time they faced Alchesay and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Window Rock Fighting Scouts were the clear victor by a 19-9 margin over the Alchesay Falcons.

Window Rock got a massive performance out of Nevaeh Nelson, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Mia Stefaniak, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.

Window Rock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .638. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Window Rock's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.2 runs. As for Alchesay, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Window Rock and Alchesay will both be playing Blue Ridge the next time they take the field. Window Rock will host Blue Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Alchesay will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
