Volleyball Recap: Ravenna Takes a Loss

Ravenna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos.

Despite the defeat, Ravenna saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ava Wroblewski had 18 digs and two aces. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Wroblewski.

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Wauneta-Palisade, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Ravenna has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Loomis on the 27th. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Sandhills/Thedford on the 27th.
