Soccer Game Preview: Alburnett vs. Benton

The Alburnett Pirates will take on the Benton Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Alburnett's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillcrest Academy on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Benton didn't have quite enough to beat B-G-M on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Benton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-2 record this season. As for Alburnett, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1.
