Oakland-Craig took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 58-29. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on ten straight dating back to last season.

Sonya Guzinski was the offensive standout of the contest as she went 8-for-12 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Briar Ray, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Oakland-Craig was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Logan View/Scribner-Snyder only posted four.

Despite the loss, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder still got an impressive performance from Jayde Kreifels, who posted eight points along with eight boards and four steals. Emmery Kraus was another key player, putting up seven points.

Coming up, Oakland-Craig will take on Clarkson/Leigh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-47 defeat against Aquinas on the 6th.
