Greenway waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 59-46 victory over the Agua Fria Owls. While the Demons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Conall Tiernan was a one-man wrecking crew for Greenway as he went 8 of 11 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Slocum, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Despite the loss, Agua Fria still got an impressive performance from Ivan Guardado, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was David Tejada, who put up eight points.

Greenway's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Agua Fria, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Greenway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-32 defeat against Estrella Foothills on the 12th. As for Agua Fria, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 71-36 loss against Dysart on the 12th.
