Basketball Recap: Los Altos Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Los Altos Conquerors lost to the St. Margaret's Tartans on the road by a 54-36 margin. While losing is never fun, the Conquerors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 417th, while the Tartans are ranked 73rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Los Altos and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for St. Margaret's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Los Altos and Marina will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Margaret's, they will take on Xavier Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
