Basketball Game Preview: South Williamsport Mountaineers vs. Line Mountain Eagles

The South Williamsport Mountaineers will head out to take on the Line Mountain Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, South Williamsport came up short against Central Mountain and fell 62-55. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ella Moore, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 23 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Abby Akers was another key player, putting up 19 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Line Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past Mifflinburg with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 46-27.

South Williamsport's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Line Mountain, the victory also got them back to even at 11-11.

South Williamsport was able to grind out a solid win over Line Mountain in their previous meeting back in January, winning 38-29. Will South Williamsport repeat their success, or does Line Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
