Basketball Game Preview: Chesapeake Panthers vs. Tolsia Rebels

The Chesapeake Panthers will square off against the Tolsia Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Chesapeake is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Portsmouth on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Chesapeake was dealt a 62-34 loss at the hands of Portsmouth. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Tolsia was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 52-51 to Buffalo. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chesapeake's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Tolsia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Chesapeake took their win against Tolsia in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 52-31. Does Chesapeake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tolsia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
