Basketball Recap: Everett Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Everett's strategy against McConnellsburg on Thursday. The Everett Warriors blew past the McConnellsburg Spartans 56-33. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Leading Everett to victory were Addison Wood and Jade Colledge. Wood dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Colledge went 7 of 15 on her way to 19 points and three steals. What's more, Colledge also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kirstin Feathers, who posted two points and nine rebounds.

Everett's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for McConnellsburg, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everett will head out to take on Tussey Mountain at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
