Recap: Montgomery Aztecs vs. San Ysidro Cougars
The Montgomery Aztecs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 92-22 victory over San Ysidro. Montgomery has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.
Paula Zumstein was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with three steals and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Jordan Whitehead, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Montgomery now has a winning record of 12-11. As for San Ysidro, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Otay Ranch the next time they take the court. San Ysidro will host Otay Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Montgomery will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st.
