Soccer Recap: East Union Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sierra, East Union was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Central Catholic Raiders out 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Raiders back in January, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

East Union hit Central Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emily Pires, Gissel Reyes, and Alexa Bretao.

The victory got East Union back to even at 10-10-2. As for Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Manteca the next time they take the pitch. East Union will head out to face Manteca at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Central Catholic will host them at 6:15 p.m. on February 10th.
