Softball Recap: Norman Comes Up Short

Norman fell victim to Lindsay and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to the Leopards. The defeat leaves the Tigers still looking for their first win of the season.

Norman's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lindsay, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norman will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Deer Creek at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Lindsay, they will face off against Dickson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Leopards' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
