Softball Recap: Pocola Gets the Win

Pocola proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 12) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Caddo Bruins, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since August 29, 2024.

Pocola's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Caddo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Pocola will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Charles Page at 4:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Caddo, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-1 loss against Silo on the 23rd.
