Basketball Game Preview: Waxahachie Indians vs. Lake Highlands Wildcats

The Waxahachie Indians will face off against the Lake Highlands Wildcats at 7:10 p.m. on Friday.

On Saturday, Waxahachie lost to Guyer on the road by a 52-38 margin.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kaleb 'KJ' Jones, who posted seven points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Gatewood, who had 15 points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Lake Highlands ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They escaped with a win against Tyler Legacy by the margin of a single free throw, 61-60. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Waxahachie's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lake Highlands, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
