Langston Hughes fell victim to Northgate and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 10-0. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Langston Hughes' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Northgate, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Langston Hughes will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Morrow at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Northgate, they will challenge Edgewood Academy at 2:00 p.m. on the 11th.
