Soccer Recap: St. Andrew's Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, St. Andrew was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Battery Creek Dolphins finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Monday. The outcome might've been different if Benjamin Jouffrault hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Matthew Minton and Charles Strain scored both of St. Andrew's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

St. Andrew's draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-1. Meanwhile, Battery Creek's record is now 7-6-2.

Coming up, St. Andrew's will be playing at home against Bulloch Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Battery Creek, they will head out on the road to square off against Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
