Soccer Recap: Rancho Alamitos Comes Up Short

Rancho Alamitos was the 3-2 winner over Los Amigos when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros lost 7-0 to the Los Amigos Lobos on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Vaqueros can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 826th, while the Lobos are ranked 276th).

Rancho Alamitos' defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Los Amigos, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season.
