Basketball Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Creekside Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Grove Christian Patriots.

When it comes to explaining why Creekside Christian Academy lost, don't look at Jai Holt. Despite the final result, she posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Yefremov, who earned five points and four blocks.

Creekside Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Union Grove Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Creekside Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Konos Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Grove Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Woodland Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m.
