Soccer Recap: Santa Clara Gets the Win

Santa Clara lost to Los Altos back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Santa Clara Bruins had just enough and edged the Los Altos Eagles out 3-2. That's two games straight that the Bruins have won by just one goal.

They hit Los Altos with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reiko Yoshimura, Alicia Olguin, and Mia Rahbar.

The victory made it two in a row for Santa Clara and bumps their season record up to 6-2-3. As for Los Altos, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Palo Alto the next time they take the pitch. Santa Clara will host Palo Alto at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Los Altos will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
