Softball Recap: Eureka's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Eureka waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Howell Vikings 13-6. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kayleigh Niles, who went 1-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Addison Schneider was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Eureka hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Howell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Eureka will take on Rockwood Summit at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Howell, they will face off against Northwest at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
