Soccer Recap: Mercy Comes Up Short

Mercy was the 12-0 winner over Mills when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Mercy Bears took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mills Vikings on Tuesday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mercy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mills, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Mercy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Everett Alvarez at 12:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Mills has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against South San Francisco on the 12th.
