Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-28 loss at the hands of the Hemet Bulldogs. The dominant performance also gave Gonzalez- Horta a new career-high in steals (eight). Another player making a difference was Shiloh Wigal, who posted six points and three steals.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Hemet, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-34 loss against Rancho Verde on the 4th. As for Hemet, they will head out on the road to face off against Canyon Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
