Volleyball Game Recap: Hot Springs Tigers vs. Tohatchi Cougars

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hot Springs can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to the Tohatchi Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Taylor Littleton paced Hot Springs' offense, picking up 15 kills. Littleton got some help from Marquetta Carter and her 17 assists. Littleton and Carter didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Hot Springs has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Tohatchi, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Hot Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tohatchi, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Cottonwood Classical Prep on the 14th.
