Soccer Recap: Westfall Comes Up Short

Westfall lost against Unioto back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs came up short against the Shermans, falling 12-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Westfall were already down 6-1.

Westfall's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 2-8-3. As for Unioto, the win got them back to even at 6-6-2.

Looking ahead, Westfall will host Piketon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westfall will be up against Piketon's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.53 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Unioto, they will take on Minford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
