Klein Cain has gone a perfect 5-0 against Tomball recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hurricanes will venture away from home to take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Neither Klein Cain nor Tomball posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Klein Cain is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Klein Collins on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Hurricanes were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 49-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hurricanes have suffered against the Tigers since October 11, 2019.

Despite the loss, Klein Cain had strong showings from Eyan Johnson, who rushed for 102 yards and one TD on only five carries, and Rico/Earl Oguinn, who rushed for 94 yards on only five carries. Johnson's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards.

Meanwhile, Tomball unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 38-3 loss at the hands of Magnolia. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Klein Cain's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Tomball, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-2.

Klein Cain strolled past Tomball when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 27-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hurricanes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
