Broken Bow waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Grove Ridgerunners with a sharp 9-2 victory. Considering the Savages have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Adelyn French was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Khloe Williams was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Broken Bow now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Grove, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-15.
Looking ahead, Broken Bow will challenge Whitesboro at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grove, they will take on Kansas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
