Grayson proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Newton 12-11. Grayson hasn't had any issues with Newton recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Grayson's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Newton, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
